We charge a flat rate of $100.00 US per Web page, with a 3-page minimum required. What defines a page? A Web site consists of many different pages. For example, every Web site has a home page. This is considered to be one page. Then there might be an About Us page, a Resources page, a Contact page and a Terms of Use/Disclaimer page. In this example, there is a total of five pages, including the home page. The total cost would be $500.00 US ($100/per page rate x 5 pages).

Why we charge by the page for Web design and layout:

Creating customized layout and graphics is a process that involves a high amount of artistic ability and creativity. The amount of time that it takes to design a new project can vary greatly depending on the creative mood of the designer. Charging by the page rather then the hour is a win-win situation for the client because:

  • it takes the guess work out of the final cost of the project - there are no surprises when the client receives the final invoice

  • the client pays the same amount regardless of the amount of time the designer spends on the project

Web design pricing structure includes:

  • Complete customized design and layout of your Web site - includes a rough draft and up to two design revisions.

  • HTML programming of your Web site

  • CSS programming, if desired (recommended)

  • Javascript programming, such as buttons that change when the mouse moves over them

  • Upload of the completed Web site to the Web

  • Contact forms for your visitors to fill out, provided that your host allows form mail

Note: that you will also need a domain name (a domain name is the url of your site. For example, http://www.uniqueshowdesigns.com is a domain name) and hosting for your Web site (hosting is like a little home on the Internet for your Web site and domain name). If you do not currently have a hosting company, we can recommend several that we have done business with and think highly of. Domain names can often be purchased through your hosting company at discounted rates.

Flash sites will vary in cost depending on the design of the sight and how much of site uses Flash effects. Starting cost is $75 per hour but no more than $125 per hour. Flash can also be used in the design of an animated banner.
