Q: I want a web
site designed, where do I start?
A: First, write down the
components that you would like to see in your site.We then
can provide you with ideas on other components, or just
provide you with an estimate based on your components. Check
out your competitors and see what they are doing.
Q:
How should I prepare my content for my new site?
A: We prefer you to send your content via E-mail. In
the subject line of your email, we ask you to put the title
of the page you would like the content to go on. If you
have changes, we would also prefer you to send the changes
in the same manner.
Q:
I like my site's functionality, but need a new design. Can
you work with my current content?
A: Yes. We do site redesigns frequently. We prefer to have
you work with your current content until you have it exactly
the way you like it, and then we can plug it into your current
site.
Q:
I need to update my web site, can you do that for me?
A: Yes, we can update sites for your company. We can price
it monthly, or we can price it per instance.
Q:
Do you register our site on search engines?
A: No. Search engine registration is a very time consuming
job. We could register your sites once, but it wouldn't
do you much good. We prepare your site for search engine
placement. You can contract other companies to maintain
your search engine rankings, and costs range from 25cents
a click to 2000 a month.
Q:
What browsers will my site be compatible with?
A: It is impossible to get a great looking site that is
compatible with the endless amounts of browsers and browser
versions. We design for Netscape 4.6 and higher, which is
currently at Netscape 6.1, and Internet Explorer 4.0 which
is now at 5.5. Netscape does not plan to continue creating
browsers in the future.
Q.
How
do I get my demo reel online?
A. I work with Ghost Wind
Production company to transfer your VHS video to CD and
Quicktime. Extra cost is involved. Please contact
www.ghostwinddemos.com
for further assistance.
